Chase Basketball would like to extend a warm thank you to Spalding Australia and Lanard Copeland for their generous contributions made to our donation to the bushfire devastated indigenous community of Bairnsdale.

On 08/01/2020 Chase Basketball CEO Nigel Purchase, with the support of Spalding Australia and family and friends, headed to the fire and drought ravaged communities of Victoria, to offer donated goods, assistance and some smiles and hugs, as the basketball community collectively reaches out to our country cousins.

Friends of Chase Basketball Ricky Baldwin and Lanard Copeland supported Nigel, who was able to meet locals affected by the recent (and ongoing) bushfire tragedy.  Basketball provided some well needed respite for the local youngsters and donated sporting goods will help affected families begin the long road to recovery.

Chase Basketball will maintain a connection with the amazing families and communities that they have come in contact with over the past week and thank all of its partners, participants and staff for continuing to assist in every way that they can.  From the smallest financial donation to offers of time and volunteer support, Chase Basketball has been humbled and proud of the offers of support from the basketball community.  Thank you!
